    BW1350 and front driveshaft question

The BIIs that I saw all seemed to have a double cardan in the back, single in the front. (but they do run the same U joints so I could add in the double cardan setup from the rear - id just have to get the shaft shortened again) - Im thinking, after looking into it, your 98 ranger setup may...

    1) put new plugs and a thing of lucas/seafoam in it. itd only be ~30$ and a good place to start. Then if you think the alternator is the issue, pull out your volt meter. car running you should be pulling 13.5-14 volts at the battery. If that checks out, then get a $5 can of mass air flow...

    BW1350 and front driveshaft question

Ok, so in doing my 4x4 conversion I have the factory d35 front end however I could not find a manual shift 1354 t-case ANYWHERE in my budget. I did however grab a 1350 manual shift. I had a spare front driveshaft from a BII that I had shortened 3 inches and balanced at a shop and it all bolts...

    clutch drain plug

look where the hydraulic line goes into the bellhousing. just above that is the bleed screw (itll be covered with a little rubber cap). the slave is inside the bellhousing on these trucks so hopefully you just need to bleed it. get some DOT3 brake fluid, a buddy, and an 8mm or 5/16th wrench...

alright heres the final product! took a little bit of work to make it fit, but im happy with how it turned out :) plus the way the tire sits it doesnt block the rear window too much so i can still see out! for skyjumper - it has a pin with notches in it that it slides onto and it latches to it...

today in the junkyard i found this beauty... its a tire swingout that bolts to the frame where the hitch bolts on and also to the back bumper in two places. thing seems extremely well built and is heavy guage steel. i know its off a GM, but this weekend im going to do some fabricating and see if...

    Cheap front lift?

sounds good! the only thing id say is you might want to look into a 2'' BL instead of 3''. im not sure what models/years etc but i know on some explorers a 2inch body lift is just body spacers and relocate the fan shrowd but once you go up to 3inches it also requires an extension for the...

    Cheap front lift?

sorry if my post sounded negative, was just trying to give you a heads up (trust me... ive had ideas before and that "oh sh** moment where you realize it wont work always sucks  ) but looking at those pics - i cant wait to see what you turn the X into! looks like you have a taste...

    Cheap front lift?

your ex is torsion bar front end - not coil spring - so im confused as to how you plan on adding coil spacers and coil springs? also 35s on stock gears might be pushing it - so you gotta throw in extra $for a re gear to push that size tire. also a torsion twist to clear 35s would be stiff beyond...
