Very odd, beats me, but may be easy to you, take a look!

I'll throw this out there. Are your cats clogged up? Fine when cold but when hot a whole different story.

remove door panel on 2008 explorer

If you search in my explorer photo gallery you will see some pictures of where the bolts are to remove the door panel. All the switches are on plugs and easy to remove. Have a set of pliers handy because they will help in the removal of the cable that opens the door.

    **NEW HID Vendor** Testers Wanted!

The one question that keeps comming up and seems not to get a clear answer is... If I switch from my stock bulbs to your HID set up will my dash board tell me I have a lamp out like it does with many other HID systems? If I do get the lamp out message what steps do I need to take in order to...

    Weather Tech Floor mats!

Jeremy, I have the full 6 piece set in my 2006 Limited w/ 3rd row. Recently I pulled them out to give them a good scrub down and they showed me why I spent the money I did. I would hate to see what my tan interior would have looked like if everything I scrubbed off of the mats was actually in...

    Remote Start Question

The only way to know 100% is to find the control box. I googled the number on the label and code alarm uses that label. Open your driver's door and pull the weather stripping back near the top door hinge and then remove the plastic side cover of the dash (the spot where the older explorers...

Rear AC blowing HOT air when on AC?

You may have a freon leak in the rear system. The front and rear are seperate except for the compressor which drives both systems.

    Removing 3rd Row Headrests

They pivot within the seat so I don't think they are removeable. If I have my third row up and nobody is back there I just fold the headrests down and that cures the visibility problem. If somebody is back there, their big head is in the way so it is a non issue.

Look under the 7 pin round plug further back on the same bracket you may find the four pin connector facing straight down. That is how my '06 is not sure if they did the same on yours.

    Trusted transmission shop in Houston?

After you check rebuild prices from local shops check how much it is for a rebuilt transmission from the dealer. You should be able to get a transmission rebuilt by ford with a huge ford warranty on it.

    Tailgate Glass Opens Randomly

When mine was randomly opening it was caused by me. I wouldn't notice it until I was in the truck ready to go and it confused the heck out of me. When I would use the keypad to unlock the truck I sometimes would accidentally hit the 5/6 button instead of the 3/4 button to unlock all the doors...

Thunk at start and rumbling noise at highway speed

Check your wheel bearings. I had my first one done at 60K and it was the left rear. I didn't notice it at the time but I had my truck in for some other things and they found it to be bad.
