    '97 high-mount brake light "rebuild"

Extremely easy. I just went to my JY and took my ballast with me for a visual (or go with the guys if need be) and they took it off the salvage EX and that was it. It was very easy for me to change it out myself as well.....

    '97 high-mount brake light "rebuild"

I've found that $10 on a JY ballast is the easiest fix yet...for me that is! I guess I just don't have the patience for this DIY trick..LOL I even lucked out and got 2 of them for $10, so there's always a back-up if needed...:D Good luck!

(ARC) issue - Rear passenger side sagging

Don't know how much help I can be, but you can start HERE. I've had a few issues with my ARC and these guys have been wonderfully helpful! My best guess to start with would be the shock or the ride height sensor (maybe both??) because those are the issues that mimicked mine for the most...

    Air Ride Suspension

Any thoughts on the most "painless" way to go about that? Or, would I need to run new, longer line? It won't damage it up against the shock like that would it? If that is a possible solution, then I might just go ahead and snatch that other left one "just-in-case."

    A targeted hello

    Air Ride Suspension

The part number for the left one that I have is: F57Z-18124-SF <--LEFT FRONT The part number for the right is: F57Z-18124-MFA <--RIGHT FRONT In case anyone ever needs them, there you have it. I'm going to assume that the last set of letters are just identifiers maybe? (Left or...

    Air Ride Suspension

Ok, so here's the rear again...this time with the new shocks. Input? Also, I forgot to mention that my tires are not the stock size (235/75R15), so I guess that too will make a difference in the ride height appearance. (go easy, it wasn't my doing...getting bigger tires on Black Friday...) Any...

Don, any insight as to what the correct "base" ride height should be for my ex?

    Air Ride Suspension

Thanks for the well-wishes....I ALWAYS make sure my boys are first...;) My mistake..typo, as I forgot the "4." I got the rear two on..(brand new) and just got the front left one today. However, the right (front) one is the one I can't seem to locate...anywhere. Is that the one you...

    Air Ride Suspension

Thanks shooked....He's better now. But, when you have a 7 year old who's "mommy's baby," (not to mention a sick one) he seems to vie for attention...constantly!! LOL, I am sure all of those parents out there know exactly what I mean.....;) My understanding is the same as well, but what is...

    Air Ride Suspension

Thanks!! It took alot of research and phone calls.... Which one's broken? If the right one is good, would you sell it to me??? Any particular product to use? I don't think I will be letting anyone touch that truck (the suspension at least) for a LOONNGGG TIME! lol When searching on Ebay...

    Air Ride Suspension

Elaborate, please...... What do you mean 4X4 vs. 4X2? What exactly is the correct position, then? I had the pictures for reference that Sean & Don gave (& your instructions) and apparently that is the way mine look. Again, I will take more pictures tomorrow to show it's current state...If...

    Air Ride Suspension

Romeo, I'll have my husband look at the sensor and bracket to make sure it's connected properly. I'll also try to get some pictures of the under-body with the NOS shocks too.

    Air Ride Suspension

Sorry for the delay guys, have had a sick kid... So we got the rear shocks on...They seem to be working fine, took the railroad tracks like a champ...No roll-bounce. I'll take some pictures tomorrow in the daylight. Although, I am no longer sure of what the "proper" ride height should be, so...

    Air Ride Suspension

Keeping everything close to factory is the road I am on at the moment. I have no issues in spending the money to maintain my ride, IF the information is consistent and properly assessed. The part I don't like is being talked to as if I don't know anything, or if I am beneath the "mechanic" who's...

Are you referring to the Monroe's that I was given my money back for?;)

    Air Ride Suspension

From Ford's inspection, apparently the sensor is fine. I did order back-ups (sensor & bracket) just in case, for future need however.

BTW, they weren't cheap. Just under $200 bucks a piece, but worth it for me....(considering the issues I've faced)

    Air Ride Suspension

Thanks! Green Sales Company in Cincinnati, OH As for the "how," apparently over the years, FORD likes to change up the part numbers to their vehicles quite frequently. It was a matter of tracking down the original part no. (the correct one at least) and doing a search for it. There is also a...

    Air Ride Suspension

Update Hey guys, just wanted to give you an update... I was able to hunt down a pair of the OEM shocks with the "Electronic Valve" on the top of it. It took me a while, but I succeeded.:D I am all for the replacements, but for the time being I guess I will keep it factory....cuz my...

LMAO, good one! Unfortunately, he doesn't drink beer, but maybe a dinner consisting of his favorite meal will suffice. The pics are great guides (I wish my underneath were that clean...lot's of rust from cold weather/salted roads..) and I will show them to him, if he doesn't return in the next...

    Air Ride Suspension

Fed up!!! Sooooooo, Another day, same issue. Ultimately, Pep Boys paid to have my truck towed to another one of their shops--with an apparent "ASE MASTER TECH" on staff that knew what was wrong, without seeing the vehicle.... Yet, when I got there, he kept saying he told the original store...
