My currend one took a crap while in 4wd, so its stuck there. I know that new shift motors come in the 2wd position, so how do I get my t-case to 2hi so I can install the new motor? Just so y'all understand, I mean, how do I manually get it into 2hi with the current shift motor off the t-case...

yeah, I did the same..... takes a while but a very lazy and relaxed way of doin it. haha

you guys are both right...... I just used my sawzall, cut a croove in the top of the sleeve, then used a cold chisel to collapse one side, and punched straight out. it only took me about 30 minutes to remoeve both sleeve, and replace both sides with poly bushings. wow.... Great advice guys...

ok, this is on my Axle swapped Explorer, and I'm replacin the rubber bushings with polys on my front leaf spring rear mounts. For these mounts, I've used factory XJ rear shackles. Now, There's a center bolt "eye", then the rubber bushing, then theres a Shoulder sleeve that' between the rubber...

That's lookin very good for homemade.... do you know if this type of canvas will change to weather condition?? ie...... shrink with cold and expand with heat?? if canvas even does that. --Ryan

I was gonna go as deep as I could too, but I ended up settling (sp?) for the 5.43s b/c I've been told that if you get too deep of gears, and your crawl ratio can actually overpower your brakes..... and I dind't wanna find out. haha

well some of it was also the shackle flopped over. haha I went out today to try and finish everything up..... and just as my luck always goes... I didn't get finished, but I'm closer I guess. When I set the body done, the holes weren't lining up, and I couldn't figure out how I was gonna fix...
