i replaced the gasket between the transmission and transfer case and it is slowly leaking on my 99 4.0 sohc and i could not find the torque specs anywhere. does any body have a Haynes manual they could look in that would be great.

the starter will only engage when i put it over 2 gears to neutral but it doesn't show neutral because its off so bad. so everythings fine such as fuses and relays its just what needs to be adjusted for it to sense it in park.

nobody has had this problem?

so i searched how to adjust the gear indicator but would it not start the car if its that inaccurate.

I just bought a 99 explorer 4 door and when i got the locks would not lock so i fixed the corroded wire on the drivers side and now whenever it rains out theres a puddle along where the driver side wires go . I looked at the seals and they looked wet, would replacing these fix this.
