(Dropped X's) Camber after cam bolt kit installed???

front bumpstops are removed, rear bumpstops are a fraction of what they once were. I need to bite the bullet and cut/weld in a mini c-notch into the rear frame. I also found out that my front upper ball joints were shot(thanks cheap autozone parts), that is what contributed to my wheel...

(Dropped X's) Camber after cam bolt kit installed???

Just trying to see what everyone else has experienced. I used the Moog cam bolt kit. It is supposed to adjust up to 2.5 degrees. I had some serious gangsta lean. It is much better now, but is still off a bit. I'm about 3.5" down in front. How did everyone else make out with their kits???

    Dropping an 01 Explorer Sport.

You can do the same setup as any 2wd on a 4wd. The only diff is your run the risk of killing your front axle shafts. I have my X dropped about 3.5" front/rear and have had a successful 15,x.. miles out of it since. **these results are/may not be typical for other applications** Front -...

    Lowering first Gen Explorer.

On a 1g, you will def need an alignment kit. You'll have some negative camber that a camber bushing kit would correct. Best bet is suck it up, go to sears/monroe/etc etc and pay the 30 buck for the bushings and 99 for the alignment, unless you enjoy beating your hands to death....

    lowering the 2nd gen 4x4

all_black_x ---- I had to hack the sh*t out of the bumpstops... I ran regular Monroe shocks, but I think I'm going to end up popping on Rancho RS5000's. My buddy had them on his dropped Ranger and they ran pretty smooth. TallZac ---- Yeah, the wheels came off a 98 Mustang GT. I ran...

    Just Saying Hello!

Well, I'm sure it won't take me too terribly long to get to that point. I used to be a huge DSM fan(owned 5 total turbo eclipses/talons), I moved to a coupe of civics(didn't really dig the crowd/following), had a lowered 89 ranger, and a bagged Suzuki Sidekick. I have a great appriciation for...
