Dropped my Ex at the dealer this morning. I discovered if I applied a little pressure with my hand to the headliner area just above the panel marked "airbag" the rattle stopped.

Dealership just called.... Ford advised them to replace the complete instrument cluster. Makes me a little nervous that they are going to have to pull the dashboard apart on a vehicle with less than 100 miles on it. Hope they do a good job of putting it back together.

I took delivery of 2013 Limited last Wednesday. Yesterday, both LCD screens next to the speedometer quit working (both are now blank). Took Ex to dealer earlier today and they said they have never seen or heard of this happening before. Has anyone else had this happen before?

I too have heard the stuttering noise as the passenger window starts to descend, but only a couple of times. I also have the streaky windows and have not had the TSB performed. March 2011 build date.

I have not had my AC turn off when canceling a route... but I have had the AC automatically start blowing from the defrost vents when the AC had been blowing out the front vents before I canceled the route.

I noticed this two days after I took delivery in April. Did same as TXFordMan and have not thought about it again until this post popped up.

On at least three occasions, when I select the radio button on the lower left hand side of the MFT screen, the AC changes blowing from the front dash board vents to the defrost vents. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this behavior.

My X came with v2.8 The navigation does not recognize any address…. not even “Main Street”. Also, MFT rebooted on the way home the other day. Displayed the “scheduled Maintenance” screen.

Yep. Ordered Limited. No snow in Florida (Tampa) and can’t drive on beach here so no need for 4WD/AWD.

About the same. Ordered on 2/10, VIN and build date week of 3/28 on 3/16 and ETA of 4/4. Don't see how they can make the 4/4 delivery. I don't think I'll see my X until mid / late April.

Thanks for the info on inflatable seat belts. Ordered Limited on 2/10 and have yet to get a build date. I expect a March build date so I should be good. Thanks

Has anyone ordered / taken delivery of new a Explorer with inflatable rear seat belts option? I ordered a new Limited on 2/10 and was told that the inflatable seats belts may not be production ready and may delay the build date.

Overall Height including antenna I’m guessing that the height spec of 70.4 inches does not include the roof mounted antenna. Does any know the overall height of the 2011 Explorer Limited including the roof mounted antenna? My garage door clearance is only 77 inches.
