Same problem here (again) . Comes and goes. It's the driver door 'cuz the boing boing boing starts as soon as I put the key in the ignition. I thought cleaning the little brass holes in the door support would stop it. Doesn't. -- Chuck

Anyone installed an aftermarket transmission cooler like the B&M SuperCooler? I'm pushing GCVWR towing a 4800 pound trailer and know the transmission needs to run cool. Transmission temperature gage anyone? Thanks, -- Chuck

A relay (I'm guessing) in the back of the truck has started cycling on a 1-second sequence. Sounds like a grandfather clock: click-clock-click-clock. The sound is coming from the left rear in the third seat area. Started on Sunday, then went away. Back with a vengence today. I don't know...

Is this project dead? I'd like to have a locking glove compartment on my '02 XLT 4-door. The latch is in the center of the drop down door. -- Chuck

Good to go. Not sure what fixed it, but it works. I gave the latch a shot of grease when she came open. -- Chuck

I'll have to look for bolts in the grill. Cable handle pulls full travel. I suspect it's no longer connected to the latch. The dealer may get to do the oil change I need this week. -- Chuck

The cable release on my '02 XLT 4-door seems to be disconnected, nothing happens when I pull it. Tried pushing down on the hood while someone else pulls the release. Nothing. :confused: How do I get the hood open? There's gotta be a bypass somewhere. Thanx, -- Chuck
