    2001 5.0 AWD: DY847 vs DY835 O2 sensor?

Sorry I forgot to post the picture as I don't have the O2 sensors with me at the moment; but I did not see the Bosch logo/stamp on the sensor when I looked at it. It did say "Made in Germany", however.

    2001 5.0 AWD: DY847 vs DY835 O2 sensor?

Yeah, that may be true or not (not disagreeing with you, I just don't have that knowledge), but everyone says to get the motor craft ones. Numerous people on this forum with results to show it, so I'm just going to go that route. I just didn't know which of their two models to buy!

    2001 5.0 AWD: DY847 vs DY835 O2 sensor?

    So, maybe not so simple?

    2001 5.0 AWD: DY847 vs DY835 O2 sensor?

Simple (hopefully) question for ya'll: I'm replacing BOTH of my upstream O2 sensors on my 2001 5.0 AWD Limited Explorer. I want to get the stock Motorcraft replacements for obvious reasons. However, Rockauto.com lists two motor craft models for upstream: DY847 & DY835. I cannot find...

FS: Stock Radio / Speakers 2001 Limited

Hello everyone, I installed an aftermarket stereo in my 2001 Ford Explorer Limited, 5.0 AWD. The truck came with the upgraded stereo with the subwoofer. Is there any demand for the stock pieces, or does anybody want them? The subwoofer does not work, but I have the stock stereo...

What's the point of an open diff with AWD?

    Can't locate 4wd switch on 97 4wd xlt

OP, if there is no switch, then it is a 2WD vehicle or the 5.0 V8 AWD system. Nothing else.

    Transmission question....99 EB 4x4...53K miles

This. Do a search and you'll see this is a common problem.

Will I lose that much towing going from SOHC to OHV?

Doesn't really matter though, because the V8 will be around the same cost with greater reliability and better towing anyways. There really is no point on getting a V6 2nd gen IMO unless you want the selectable 4WD transfer case they come with.
