    does this mean that the 1/2" pipe will work on the 4-doors ? instead of a bushing... ? I'm not familiar with what "bendable red" is... can you give some more detail? I'm sure the plastic-bushing will not last forever... D'oh the originals didn't. thanks.

    Found-It ! :p: Thank-you "C_C", it was far Under the fuse box... as if it had been hidden on purpose... Took a while to wiggle the cover off... and blow-out the cob-webs from the contacts... It has likely never been used. now, to see if I can find a 'Paper-Clip' ... :D...

    Thanks... there was 'something' just to the outside of the radiator that looked "suspicious", but I was not expected it to be there.. And it definitely had no 'label' or ID, but was an "end" of the cable. I'll look tomorrow.

    EDIT: solutions. OBD-1 port was UNDER the back end of the FuseBox. my rough/cold idle was a old/leaking "rubber cap" (aka Vacuum Leak) from a bad vacuum-cap on one of the tubes immediately above the PCV-valve. so, a 0.25 rubber cap has me running normal... ---original post: I...

    Thanks for the feedback. I just got them this afternoon. The "schematic/drawing" at the counter appeared to apply to doors (also). I will double-check before I open the package... and post an update in a couple days... edit: the Bulk option certainly is a better price / 0.20 each instead of $1

    while at OReillyAuto, I found Dorman#38424 'striker bolt bushing kit' it is four of the plastic bushings ($4) that go ON the door-frame-stud where the door latch catches... now, maybe I can get a tighter door !! Mine were all gone, I had no idea the bushings existed until a friend mentioned...

    I've been reading for a couple weeks... I'm in awe of many of your projects. A long-time mechanic friend in FtWorth has a 93-explorer Eddie Bower with 96K miles and a blown auto-transmission, ratty-front seats and needs a paint job as the top and hood are oxidized, but not yet rusty...
