    Yea thats what i figured, but maybe a slightly modded hood(well modded), would make it work? I wouldnt mind sacrificing a little of my drop, but i definately dont want stock height or lifted, so I hope a new hood will do the trick, or cut and weld mine somehow.

    Yea my main concern was clearance, being lowered quite a bit i worry about an already tight area to work with(like exhaust clearance and such), i guess the only way to know for sure is pull the old one and get a new one ready to drop in to see what needs to go and stay eh?

    with a 2" drop, thus not flipping the torsion bar, your ride quality will not diminish much(still noticable though), and some stuff may rattle but its mostly easy fixes. Im dropped over twice that much and have been for over half a year, its not that bad trust me, just get good shocks.

    Of course it will have some affect(screwing up), but 2-3" shouldnt be too bad, it will just make your joints wear faster and such, just search around for topics on it.

    I was thinking of moving most of the stuff around, like maybe relocating stuff like washer fluid, battery, etc to the cargo area...make like a custom box for it or something. I have another question though should i try and keep EFI or carb it, what are the pros/cons? *edit*-i was also...

    Hey i did the torsion flip a while back and am on 20s. I would like to swap my 302 for a 351w stroked to a 427, would that be possible being lowered so far (about 4 or 4.5 inches)?

    Yea i was looking at some 351w that have been stroked to 427 and im glad to see that it would work without too much modification, i just might be headed down that road in not too long. But where should I go for the custom parts, just a machine shop around here or is there a good place online...

    Just curious but what would be the biggest/best engine to drop into an explorer, if you already have the 5.0 and want to swap for the baddest motor out there, but dont want to modify the body too much(like minor hood, etc) basically make it a monster sleeper, and what trans etc?

    I noticed this the other day when driving my girlfriends explorer sport(2002), at any speed if you press the pedal a certain way or just on occasion you get a vibration right on the pedal. What should I get checked out on it?

    22s are going to be quite a bit more PITA, 20s will look fine if you lower it, but if you must have 22s be ready for quite a few headaches.

    I was just looking through Summit Racing and saw the Ford Racing Hi-flow short headers w/ 1 5/8 in. tubing. Are the torque monster headers really worth the extra $300?

    A flasher sounds like the way to go, so another question, when modding my EX should i wait and do the chip last, or is it just as easy to get it now and have it re-flashed...how much is a flasher anyways? EDIT- And also if you want to change programs you gotta come back to the garage...

    Camber Kit??

    Camber kit? I had to get one for my X as i did the torsion flip, got it from NAPA, i think somewhere between 20-40 bucks...i forgot. Seemed to do the trick, got me nice and aligned.
