    Floor, cargo mats / liners

can you post a pic of third row up and how the liner reacts? I posted sometime Back about preferring a solution that just goes with the flow rather than needing to remove/ fold away.

    2020 Explorer

It is cool when the members respond and help others even when it’s a “google is your friend” kind of question. I’ve seen where some members even when referencing the manual or other documents around the webs fumble up on the interpretation or what they’ve read but at least there’s a dialog and...

So, is there a button for heated mirrors? How are they engaged?

Neat things you have found out on the 6th gen.

So the first cold front swept through my little Texas town which brought temps down to the mid 50’s. Remote started the ST and was pleasantly surprised with heated seat engaged, heated steering wheel on and temp set to 70/ ac and recirculating off. none of those settings were my own. Following...

    Multiple suspension noises

I guess I can be #7 but in all honesty, I figured it was normal. My 2011 made the exact same noise in the exact same places I frequently drive.

    2020 ford explorer issues

Just got this today. just got home. Restarted the vehicle and the system Fault was cleared. I generally have this engaged (conserving my calf muscles). so today, I remote started the vehicle and when I got in, turned it on, flipped to full power a/c. Sat in vehicle a good 10-15 minutes...

    2020 ST Multiple Sync/Tech Issues

It’s embarrassing but since you all are talking about it. I’ve basically learned not to touch or make changes to my music selection for about a minute or two AFTER I’ve started the vehicle. If I try right off the bat, it will freeze or delay. I’ve figured out, turn the ST on, backup, get to...

    2020 Explorer

It will be the Kia or Hyundai - too much buzz about them in terms of tech/ value for price. I actually test drove both top trims and couldn’t see myself driving them long-term. ST arrived and I got it right away.

Lock button on power hatch can lock you out or the kids in ??

I’d been wondering about this just hadn’t gotten around to testing. the vehicle should not lock and should recognize the fact that there is a key fob in the vehicle. It knows when it is on and you walk out (beep beep). my wife’s Honda Accord doesn’t let me close the trunk with the key fob in...

Neat things you have found out on the 6th gen.

I never paid attention to this but the green led on the start button lights up as soon as you press the brake (before you turn the vehicle on) - stays on once the vehicle has been started if you remote start the vehicle, you don’t need to press the brake, simply press the start button

    Floor, cargo mats / liners

Does anyone make a liner that both covers your cargo area and fold up with the 3rd row seats?

    2020 Explorer

So I bought food for the family, a few bags and a carrier with drinks, get out of my car and shut the door with my elbow. Get in the house, leave the items on our counter, go empty my pockets as usual (which doesn’t include locking my car with the fob). Start to eat, watch tv or whatever, go to...

Is there an option or setting that auto-locks the vehicle when you/key fob is (X)distance from vehicle Timed from powering off vehicle

    Thumbs Up!

I was in South Texas earlier this summer and border agent spent some extra time with me at a checkpoint, asking questions about the vehicle and checking it out. Never mind the 30 or so Vehicles behind me wanting to get to their destinations.

Things You Would Like to See in the Explorer / Aviator

I’m still forgetting to disable auto start-stop but I’m curious as to why it doesn’t stay engaged as long as my foot is on the brake? I thought the whole point was to save gas during idle. Seems to have a 35 sec timer or somewhere near that mark. Most red lights around here take longer than that.

Neat things you have found out on the 6th gen.

Confirmed. The red lighting only occurs when the vehicle is on (regardless of ambient color selection). Below is lighting of open door when vehicle is off

Things You Would Like to See in the Explorer / Aviator

I definitely feel portrait screen owners should have more control of the content and the amount of realstate dedicated to apps. Everything feels like an afterthought or like quick fix to accommodate the screen orientation. Like the home area is silly - what’s the point of the phone section...

Neat things you have found out on the 6th gen.

I like the fact that the cargo storage cover can be reversed so as not to scuff up/ ruin the carpeted side. Aside from getting a cargo cover, it’s a neat work around. Here’s another one I just discovered: you can elect to have no ambient light by simply aligning all the colors down the center...

    Front License Plate Bracket

It was really bugging me (the plate not fitting in the notches as it should) so I just went and got a plate cover to frame it up (same one I purchased for the rear). Texas is required to have the front and I prefer the bulk of the bracket, just wished it functioned as it was designed.
