    Well, It Finally Happened

What would be a good conventional oil, before going back to Mobil 1?

    Well, It Finally Happened

Got the truck back today. A lot quieter than before, lol First oil change (regular) at 600 miles. Can switch over to full syn at the 5000 mile mark. Ended up with a new thermostat housing, new water pump, new plugs/wires. 4 years unlimited mileage, and labor, Car rental, towing.

    Well, It Finally Happened

Can I start using M1 synthetic oil, with this rebuilt or should I have to wait for certain mileage?

    Well, It Finally Happened

After owning this truck since 2003, 248,000 miles. The timing chain, guide/cassette, and probably more (Rod....) is shot. I will be getting a rebuilt with a 4 year parts and labor included. Hopefully, most parts can be used from my engine, might put a new water pump on though. Had another option...

1998 Ford Explorer Stalls When I Turn on the Air Conditioner

The shop I go to has a deal I guess with Autozone. Lifetime warranty on parts, but not the best when it comes to fuel pumps (Delphi).

1998 Ford Explorer Stalls When I Turn on the Air Conditioner

Well, here we are again. This fuel pump I bought is reading 3 on pressure, it's only 2.5 years old, wtf! Good news is it is fully warranted, so next week it will be replaced. Only will have to pay labor.

1998 Ford Explorer Stalls When I Turn on the Air Conditioner

I was not getting the codes as well. It went on for years, then someone said try the fuel pump. I also replaced the intake manifold gasket, it was the first thing I did, but it did not help at all.

    Question

I might just have to take a pic tomorrow. It does not look like a res., more like a fuel canister.

    Question

I have a 2000 Explorer. Was cleaning up the rear hatch area, one of the compartment/storage areas in the back had a door loose, so I took it off to put it back on more securely. I noticed for the first time, since owning the vehicle since 2003 that there was a canister looking, with a line...
