    Lifted Sport Tracs Picture Thread!

Hello all. It's been a while since I've posted, and I really don't have much to add, and while I know this isn't the place to make a big posting of it I wanted to let you all know I've decided to sell my Trac. I will miss you all tremendously, but I appreciate all the knowledge, input and...

my rear end is starting to sag.

Monroe Load Adjusting and an Add A Leaf is what I've been running for almost 2 years. Considerably higher than stock (4" maybe). For the future I'm going to remove the load adjusters and go with bilsteins to match the front. Will ride much harder with load adjusters but it will kill the sag and...

    02 Sport trac lift questions

If you do the body lift don't forget to check all binding spots post lift. I missed that the AC hose was too close to the belts and it only took about 25 seconds to cut through it. 400 bucks later... Lol. There is a picture of what I'm talking about in my Registry. Good luck. Sent from my...

You'll need a relay between the battery and your switch. Most aftermarket lights come with one, I'm surprised your light bar didn't. My aftermarket fogs are attached to a relay then the battery and it's been great. Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner

    Lifted Sport Tracs Picture Thread!

Alright folks. Anyone got any idea what part # these little *******s are? I broke two of them off the tonneau cover that came with my trac. No idea what brand, the tarp has "Authentic Ford" on it but that's it. I am hoping I don't have to buy a new tonneau cover just because two of these things...

It definitely works. I used 4.5" metal grade bits (15/32) to start but they are about 1/8" too short so bought one of the super long bits lol. Like 18" long. Whatever it worked. Its on there like a beast. Thread locker and some lock nuts to round it out. It'll never move again and would be...

Came up with the idea that I'm going to drill a hole in the top of the frame rail and get some 6" long grade 8 bolts and run them all the way to the top and use a nut and loctite. Then I can really torque it down and never worry again.

Dang man! That looks good. I'm definitely doing that when it warms up. Thanks for the inspiration. Got my skid plate today! The self-tapping screws are really stupid. One of them is stripped out I'll need to go get a bigger size probably, but it would probably be fine I can hang all 200lbs...

Dang man that looks great. I like the bottom of the door as well now that I see it. Did you herculine the sill of the rocker inside too? So if you open the door how far up did you go? I'd like to see how far up you went on the back. I assume you sanded the metal first. Any other prep work? I...

The one thing I'll need to decide on is if the sliders are gonna sit too close to the tires. 78" might be just a bit too long. I'm going to cut a 2x this weekend and throw it up to see how close it is. I'm concerned under extreme flex it might rub. Pretty messed up man, someone trying to steal...

Dang man. That's not cool. I'm sorry to hear that. Knowing you, you'll come out on top though, and if there is something I can do to help you out ask away. If I lived closer I'd say I'd help you with your trac if you taught me to weld haha. Would be a fair trade. Sent from my iPhone using Forum...

Yay! It is nice out finally. Let the projects commence! Firstly, I bought a skidplate from RCI and am just waiting for its arrival. I am going to throw on some Trail Gear 78" rock sliders in June, the guys at my favorite shop are giving me a deal and will get them Line-X'd and welded up for...

Hell ya Luke that would be awesome I'll start looking at that. I didn't quite finish my list still want to tighten the throttle cord and clean the throttle body. Everything else pretty much finished. Also if anyone has a spare bed cover they want to part with let me know. I'm now in the...

    Lifted Sport Tracs Picture Thread!

Welp it was a busy weekend but I didn't really do all that much in terms of going to play with the trac. Got a lot done though pretty much everything on my list. Realized for the first time how flimsy and silly the steps I have are though, so I started hunting for rock sliders and found these...
