If your running your wire under the X be sure to put 2 wire looms over it. You wont believe the short life of an uncovered wire under an X. That is why the MFG. run all the wires inside the veh.

One good light that you would mount on an X costs appx. $50.oo. You usually get what you pay for......But, you never know untill you try.

I had a Mustang that sucked trans fluid into the engine thru a vacume tube on the trans that was leaking. Burned fluid thru the motor and had white exhaust..

I usually just pull over & let them pass. Giving them the finger as they go by. I've often thought of changing the direction of the rear window washer so it would spray water on them. Never got around to it though.

Yes you can. Although you wont be able to see better especially on a rainy night. But only one way to find out.....

My 96 X had lights & my 98 doesnt. Just reflectors. Ford saved you some money.;)

Ya know, H-11 is not the same (or even close) to 9007. These are different bulbs that do not interchange. What exactly did you put in each car?

Do what watch you want, Do do watch you do. Hay, just go for it. Lights are nessary and therefore not an accesory.

My guess is the multifunction switch. (Turn signal)

Do you have directions with the harness? Is the harness for your type bulbs? Usually a harness is plug & play,

Looking at the lights, I dont think they would be worth any price, except free. They look like they would illuminate about as far as factory fogs do. Not much. If you want some lights to light up the sides or rear of your X they would probably be OK. The wires comming off them are thin...

A friend of mine has an 04 X W/V6 and seems to do the same thing. He can let it warm up in the driveway for 20 min. and heater blows cold. Get the RPMs over 2000 or so and the heater starts blowing warmer. Front & rear blow the same. He has done thermostat change, coolant change, core flush...
