    you should use a (Hayden) fan relay and a "temp sensor switch" in your coolant system (heads or intake) to activate (ground) the relay. the temp sensor switch should be rated the same or a little higher then your thermostats opening start point. (185* thermostat = 185* switch etc)...

    you guys are seriously overthinking this. and the AC request doesnt actually need anything special at all. the last thing youd want is your ECM controlling your E-fan.

    i would check fuel pressure. (pressure regulator failure/clogged fuel filter) and of course check for vac leaks. :)

    personally, id replace the entire T-stat housing. (its plastic!) they are prone to failure. may as well replace all the hoses and give it a flushing out too while youre there. :)

    mine leaks too :( i put some Lucas oil stabilizer stuff in there a few days ago, only time will tell if it works or not.

    you mean the autolock feature? you can disable autolock, check the owners manual.

    $3.55 a quart Pennzoil i dont use synth, i dont want to use synth, i dont like synth. you can use whatever you want to use tho ;) filter: $4 for Motorcraft / $7 for Wix :)

    nice work :) do yourself a favor... get the boxed rear lower control arms and panhard rod. you wont regret it if you like going in a straight line while spinning the tires ;) Rancho makes some, they come with polys.

    there is no high or low, the gauge is fake. its just an idiot light that looks like a gauge, you either have pressure or you dont. :)

    ^ i dont think he wants to remove the comp, just bypass it temp. you can get a shorter belt, it will work fine, dont know what size that would be, sorry. try some in store parking lot til you find right one. the part numbers usually indicate the length. :)

    there is a linkage adjustment at the trans. and there is an indicator adjustment wheel on the column. (under the dash) :)

    have Autozone scan for codes while youre there. my previous suggestions still stand. prepare to become a mechanic ;) buy the Haynes repair guide from Autozone. good luck :)

    when they run they run. when you buy them old and used... prepare for a complete and extended tune-up. his current problem could be many things. id start by looking for obvious vacuum leaks, then checking the TPS and IAC. check for codes too obviously. :)
