I've been running the autozone "cheap" shackles with no problems. Only advice, put a cross bolt in for some stability.

Give them a shot of PB Blaster before you get started too, maybe an hour before. Makes things a little easier.

So far I love the tires, I only have a few hundread miles on them but they ride great. Performed pretty well in the rain as well, hopefully I'll get to test the snowflake rating on the side sometime soon.

Well I ended up going with the GY Wrangler Silent armours, hopefully I won't be disappointed. I'm getting them mounted up on Friday.

Just an FYI, I used the rainX washer fluid and the cheap blades and they work great as well. Just a thought before you spend that kind of money again.

Thanks for the reply guys. I'm running timberline at baja's, their not bad but I'd like an improvement. I've read a few reviews on the GY wrangler silent armours but they don't seem to get a warm welcome here. I have it narrowed to the BFG's, LTX M/S, and the GY SA.

Anyone given thought to the goodyear silent amour? They seem to have a good review on tirerack.

Prob to do a burnout and cook the tires.

Shocks would def. help then, I replaced mine with around 80K on and that was waiting to long.

How many miles on your rig? I put new shocks on afterwards and it made a difference in the ride.

I've read those, wix, mobil, and the motorcraft are good filters, I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting.

I did the same swap and I'm off about 5 mph. Confirmed with radar ;)

I also agree on the filter, I've read nothing good about them. I've also used it once on my truck and I'll never use it again. More noise on start up then with the motorcraft, that was quickly changed.
