Yupp^^ did this about a year ago. I have driven through the heaviest rain storms imaginable and had no issues with water. A few drips could splash through sure, but its not enough to cause any type of issue IMO.

What requests are you talking about? I have gone to "support.lundracing.com" and opened requests with questions multiple times, and they are always very quick to respond to me.

I was able to remove the 4 bolts with a a ratchet wrench. Than you just have to pop out the tabs and the entire grille comes off. Oh, and there are some 10mm bolts up top where the radiator cover is. It'll be way harder to get the 4 bolts back in but honestly you dont even need them in...

In response to your theory here, I understand where you are coming from but I did not cut away any part of the box that is going to allow more engine heat in. The front of the box is open from airaid. all I did was open up the lower portion of the box to allow the direct airflow coming through...

Yes they are the all season tires. I'm running the Airaid intake. I modified the grille and airbox as you can see in my other thread so I'm basically getting a ram air straight through the grille now.
