Livernois Motorsports High-Flow Downpipes for 2013+ Explorer Sport

Nope, it was just the mods listed in the video. the cai, thermostat, plugs, cat-back, and downpipes. We've talked about doing a meth kit on it but we are always trying to get more out of it without doing so.

    What's Next

The problem is that porting the heads on this is not like a traditional engine, so you can't just port them and get big flow, if you do that you hurt combustion stability, and durability, so porting them is a science. As for other upgrades, methanol, downpipes, and turbo upgrades are a good...

Livernois Motorsports High-Flow Downpipes for 2013+ Explorer Sport

Since this, like our thermostat, cai, exhaust, etc. is all about increasing efficiency, it does not push it closer to the fuel limits, so no worries on needing additional items like methanol. There definitely will be a special tune to make the most of these downpipes though.

    Thermostats for your Explorer Sport

I am sorry you feel that way, if you would like, I will be more than happy to send you dyno graphs from hundreds of different cars from various makes and models of cars we have done just that type of testing for. Obviously I wouldn't want to flood the forum with the vast amount of data we have...

    Thermostats for your Explorer Sport

Just as a case in point, if that were true, why do they have a 180* from the factory?

Livernois Motorsports High-Flow Downpipes for 2013+ Explorer Sport

It's been a long time coming, but we are proud to announce that we our high-flow downpipes are now being manufactured. As with our SHO and F150 downpipes, these utilize all USA manufactured materials. These downpipes are manufactured from T304ss in the USA and have been tested for months on...

    Thermostats for your Explorer Sport

When designing a car there are numerous factors that go into why something gets used, but every car benefits in power and performance from having a lower temp thermostat than production.

    Thermostats for your Explorer Sport

We recommend our 160* thermostat for anyone looking for added performance from these cars, especially when tuned. They heat soak quite a bit due to how compacted everything is under the hood, so a cooler thermostat helps the engine stay in it's optimal operating range for a larger percentage of...

    Open letter to LMS

These aftermarket apps and OBD-II adapters are not accuarate. They aren't grabbing the proper data, and many times doing equations to give you information. The example with this is A/F ratio. It's impossible to accurately calculate A/F, yet these apps display it. The ECM doesn't spit out A/F, so...

    Thermostats for your Explorer Sport

The problem is that you do not have the proper equipment to datalog these. Generic data logging equipment cannot be used on an ecoboost as it gives incorrect data. Sorry if you don't believe this but it's true. Sending datalogs that aren't correct won't do anyone any good. These also don't tune...

    Anyone have Livernois problems yet?

Livernois Motorsports is proud to release our Xv1 tune for 2013+ Ford Explorer Sport

Simply put, because we want to ensure the best possible results in both performance, and drivability. There are a few things that we have found to improve these two aspects of the Xv1 tune, and therefor rather than releasing something and that is good, but not 100% what it could be, we decided...

Black Friday Sales at Livernois Motorsports

I am not certain who did the testing you are referring to, but it is completely against all of the testing we have seen, we saw a pretty solid 1/4 time improvement, and dyno improvement from the cold air intake being added. It absolutely comes with the tunes, we don't charge any extra for...

Explorer Down Pipes and Corsa Exhaust Exclusively from Livernois Motorsports

While these both are larger than stock, the catback will work with both our downpipes and the stock downpipes. Likewise the downpipes will be engineered to work with the stock cat back or ours.

Explorer Down Pipes and Corsa Exhaust Exclusively from Livernois Motorsports

This would be a 2.5" system to mate up with our downpipes, so it will be an increase in diameter over stock.
