I currently have a 1992 4WD Explorer 4.0L, but of course it has the rusted out really bad, I am looking at getting a 1993 or 1994 that has a motor that is shot so I can get it real cheap. My engine in my 1992 is brand new, will it work with a 93 or 94?

Here is my dilema, My car is fine at first for about 10 mins and my gauge starts climbing and goes past the H and my Check Gauge light comes on, and then it drops back down to normal, and will start climbing again but not as high as the H. Anyone know what causes it? This is on my 1998 Eddie Bauer

I have just taken my X to the tranny shop because of a Code 629 - and they said that they found my transmission harness melted in quite a few spots from the exhaust manifold, so that is probably what is causing the problem. Does anybody know where to get a new harness from?
