This is some really great info guys! This is exactly what I was after.

When I had my '91 I had a aux tranny filter on it. I actually got better shifting after that installing that. When I got rid of the Ex it had over 200K on it. So I'm a big believer in taking care of the tranny.

I'd be curious to see some production numbers from Honda. Say for example Honda produced 1 million VTECs a year, I bet they produced 2 million VTEC emblems for the same year then sold the rest to people that went in and bought the emblems to put on their non-VTEC cars.
