@ahouwing Glad you like it! The wheels are Velgen 20x10.5" and the tires are Hankook ST-06's at 295/45R20 w/ 1.6-2" drop on H&R springs and Bilstein shocks/struts.. My explorer is currently for sale. May consider selling the wheels/tires & Bilstein/H&R suspension separately. Let me know if...

    Tune with no other modifications?

The f150 comes stock with a 2.5 map sensor, hence the reason their 3.5 puts out over 380hp/400ft/lb torque. The Explorer comes with a 2 bar, which only reads to 14psi. You’ll want the 3 bar (or 2.5 But why bother if it’s the same price?) if you plan on running 18psi and hope the ecu can read the...

Great looking rides Bill. I have some of the mods you are looking into, though I opted for 20x10.5 wheels and I decided against the CAI and exhaust from Livernois. Currently I run the 3bar 91 octane (smooth-shift) tune, which requires the 3bar map sensor. My understanding with the emission...

Any Aftermarket brands for our Suspension?

I’m curious as well... I know Bilstein does not have any of their high end lines (6000-8500 series) available for the 2011+ Explorer Sport. Not even sure about their OEM replacement (4000-4500 series?) being available. I have the H&R springs installed on my 17 ExSport and love them, however...

    5th Gen Explorer Photo Thread

My 2017 Explorer. Special thanks to @jonnoriega for his posts and upgrades. I used a lot of your posts as inspiration for my own upgrade (i.e. Velgen wheels and H&R springs). Next upgrades are tint for driver and passenger windows and black ford nameplates front and rear. IMG_1586 by Joel...

What did you do to your 5th Gen?

Tony, where did you get your black front/rear Ford nameplates from? I'm looking for some but most that I see get low reviews for quality (i.e. Amazon, eBay, etc.). Thanks in advanced for any help.
