That appears to be the issue. It actually looks worn at the edges. I wish I could take it off to put new foam underneath it.

I have examined it and it does not appear loose...but it's hard to tell at 45mph. I did check the A pillar and the defrost vents cover. I wonder if the vents themselves are vibrating. Looking for some thin self-adhesive cellular foam to see if that stops the rattling.

I waited and it did not update itself. I did the original 3.0 to 3.4 update to fix a problem and to get new maps.

My rattle starts at speeds above 45mph. Drove about 250 miles this morning without a peep. Hit some rough pavement and...rattle...It sounds lijev its coming through the defroster vent. Help.

I saw video where someone added numeric temperature over gauge. They also had a turbo boost gauge. This was on an F150. Can these be added to the Explorer using Forscan?

I was having terrible problems with my head unit. The dealer said the fix was a new head unit and APIM. I am over miles and they said it was about 3k. Found this thread, updated to 20196 and 3.4. Beautiful. I just have to figure how to change the logo from Ford oval to Explorer....or maybe...

I upgraded my 18 explorer platinum yesterday. Solved all my problems with my radio/navigation unit. Cyan Lab upgrade.

I updated to Sync 3.4 and the problem went away.

The APIM showed some codes for the seat but nothing for the radio or sat/nav
