Compared them last night and the base of the 95 is much different from the 96. Looking at youtube theres some videos that make it look easy to swap the base and sensor so i may just buy the tool and try to install the whole 96 unit into the 95 motor

Yes it ran. Drove it on the trailer and even did some burn outs in my buddys shop before i pulled it out.....you know just to make sure she was a runner lol but the plastic piece of the sensor itself is broken but still held on some how by the pins. Would it be safe to silicone it together then...

I havent removed the sensor from the (95) new motor. But the 96 sensor does not plug into the 95 harness. I think more or less my question is can i even use the 96 camshaft position sensor? Ive seen a lot of back and forth on a lot of threads but no definitive answer

I stumbled across this and it looks to be a ranger diff by the leaf perches. Anyway to identify what year it came from possibly? Maybe 99 up since it appears to have a speed sensor on top?

Contemplating doing a soa lift on the rear of my 96 xploder, is the ramger diff interchangeable with leafs? Any width difference? If its from an older truck with drums would i be able to swap backing plates to go to disc?

Wires are in correct order. Ive heard talk on the old interwebz that maybe a bad coolant temp semsor could cause an issue like mine. Is tgere a way to check it besides visually?
