eve everything works now except the fuel pump and the rear wiper

got it fixed. took the new ign switch out and left it hooked up and pushed the plunger in until the dash lite up then backed it up one click and bolted it in. works great. i just broke the tab for the key in the switch and the holder for the shift indicator as well.

i h ad the same problem with my 90 Eddie and found out the fuse for the amp is the same fuse for the trailer wiring.

i will do that first thing this morning, ut i am thinking the sensor is shot. it was a used one from the wrecking yard since my ex son in law stole most of the new parts off of my truck.

i have the sensor off the engine because of no spark. i tested it for an a/c signal, nada, i tested it for continuity across the terminals, nada, i waved a piece of metal across it and nada the tach doe not twitch when the engine cranks. what other tests can i do?

i finally got my wiring diagram it is in a tube and has to be rolled out and unfolded.

i found the pinout for a 94 and was wondering if it is the same as a 91 so i can check the wiring on my 91.

rear wiper crapped out, seized up and took the switch with it. found out why it has no spark the crank sensor is bad. so is the connector and i went to take the connector off the coil pack and the connector broke. i guess it is my day to replace connectors.

amazon wasn't much cheaper. i will try a wr4ecking yard next, but then i get a used one and who knows how good it is?

i was told the way to test it is to put your multimeter on ac and attach the leads to the sensor and crank it. it should read millivolts in ac. can you also test it at the icm that way i can test the connection as well? if i probe the pip connection at the icm should it flash?

them icms' are not cheap.

my rear wiper motor died on my 91 explorer. i am trying to figure out how to disassemble it. do i tap it from the inside or the outside?
