I just downloaded the files and was curious if the file structure is correct. I do not see the SyncMyRide folder, per se, but just the name of the folder. For example, SyncMyRide\5...4G381-ED.tar.gz and four more with the same naming structure. Did this download correctly?

I just returned from the dealer today and they updated my 2020 Explorer ST with software version 19274 (Sync 3.4)

I have a theory about this. I noticed the same thing, especially in sport mode at low speed. I don’t think it’s the brakes being grabby, but the transmission down shifting aggressively.

I did something similar when I noticed that I did not receive an ST logo on the floor mats, even though it was listed on my window sticker and on the Ford website. Ford’s response was that they made a running change and they will not be offered. I have a feeling you will see a similar response...

I have the issue, too. So make that six. It’s a subtle noise that I’ve been trying to live with. Now that I see so many others have it, it is definitely a bigger problem than I originally thought. I’ll mention it to the dealer at my next service.

I ordered them from my dealer after I got the truck. I found them on the Ford accessories web site and provided the part numbers to the dealer. This was back on July.

The button on the stalk is for lane assist. The button on the steering wheel is for the lane centering function and requires the adaptive cruise control. This cluster of buttons was defective on my steering wheel (lane centering didn’t work) and was replaced. This solved the problem.

Correct. The button at some point stopped working. The dealer replaced the entire button set on the left part of the steering wheel. It now works.

The dealer fixed the Lane Centering issue. They needed to replace the switch on the steering wheel. Apparently it was faulty.
