I am also looking for a central locking tailgate kit. It is amazing that I haven't found anything like this yet and is annoying that I have to take my key out of the ignition to unlock my tailgate.

I am trying to find a soft close kit that would fit my 2007 Explorer Sport Trac. I have found one on Amazon that says it fits the 2007 F150 and Lincoln Mark LT. Will this fit the tailgate of the Sport Trac as well?

Mike, I love mine. If there was any criticism it would be that the Android Auto and Apple Carplay need to be tethered with the USB cable. It does not use the Bluetooth. Bluetooth is used only for the phone calls and music.

thanks for the info. However, I connected the power and ground from the camera to the reverse lights and it still doesn't trigger the screen to come on while in reverse. I get nothing. Am I missing something?

77 MGB, huh....I am building a 1974 MGB-GT with a Ford Duratec 2.3L from a 2010 Ranger. Same basic Mazda based engine as the 2.3L Ecoboost, just without the turbo. My car weighs about 2200lbs so 180 to 220hp should be fun. My 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac v8 will pull her to shows.

I am trying to hook up my backup camera right now. Which wire is the reverse trigger wire on a 2007 Sport trac? I see a red a black and a purple wire coming from the selector. Could it be the purple that I connect the cameras trigger wire to?

Evelyn, I just bought and installed a Jensen Car1000 with backup camera. I will be putting the camera on the license plate surround so I can still have back up camera when the tailgate is down which is a lot because of the short bed.

I was going to just buy some brushed aluminum and bend it with a brake to attach over the existing rubber. Would be better to do what you did. I will check the u-pull-it yard. On another note, do you know the Width, backspacing and offset of the Adrenaline wheels? I am looking at getting 20"...
