I did the upper a few months back with the FelPro gaskets, had decent sized vacuum leak and codes for running lean. So far so good, haven't had any codes since!

Fuel pressure will be the next thing on the list, just about the only thing I haven’t covered yet. No check engine light, original cats were clogged, throwing codes and getting really hot so I replaced them with the oem 2 cat setup a bit ago.

Would you recommend doing the inner and outer tie rod at the same time while I am taking it apart? I noticed that the outer boot that connects to the hub/knuckle is worn, but the inner looks fine to me no noticeable tears or leaks.

Yep a 4wd one, the sound isn’t belt related. It almost sounds like front diff noise. I took it to a few place to checkout the muffler and the exhaust, all of them reported a hole in the cat. Are junk yard cats a lot cheaper than a universal?
