    right, but you do need to drop the rear cat. while the engine is hot. maybe it's different for the 3.5, but he 3.7 doesn't have enough room. which is why you're pulling out air. and the seals are not going to be THAT sensitive in a static condition.

    the risk of blowing a seal while changing the oil is going to be significantly less that the risk of burning out the gearbox cuz you never changed the oil... if the seals go, the seals go, then im taking out the whole ptu anyhow, and i can add an additional tube then. but it's at least a good...

    if we could get at the side fill plug to fill it... we wouldn't be filling it by the tube... adding another tube sounds good, but not sure how to do it without dropping out the PTU, and there's a lot of stuff to remove for that. maybe with a flex extension down behind the engine.

    looking at the part, it's probably super simple. the branch hoses disconnect without tools, and there's hose clamps on the ends. if you're already in for the pump, do it at the same time. they probably need to take it off anyhow. and the certainly need to drain the system.

    yes, I believe the PIU has beefier suspension than the stock, for performance reasons.

    Continental makes excellent tires in the OEM size range that are cheaper than the police stock tires.... and forget about firestone... they want like $400/ tire, while Continentals were $230ish and Goodyear was like $250.

    i put on 245/55 r18 Continental Extremecontact DWS 06+ on mine. extremely happy with them.

I don't think the earlier models have em, this is for the preinstalled lights, wigwag, and siren speaker. i mostly jsut want to be able to eventually broadcast audio out thru the siren speaker, but im thinking that if i go Fienix, ill...

    mine has a 14 in front, a 6 in front, a 14 in back (only 7 used), and a 4 in back. CU2Z-14S411-APA CU2Z-14S411- LUB CU2Z-14S411- BJAC CU2Z-14S411- HEA i can find APA and BJAC, but not LUB or HEA

    you can also get the front and rear 14 pin connectors thru ford, and the front does have aftermarket on amazon. i've had little luck with the siren and 6 pin

    14/15 Ex PIU reliability

    two big things to look out for: first, the water pump. change it proactively around 110-140k miles second, the PTU, make sure you change the oil regularly... 15k or so intervals.
