Your likely going to need to use forscan to enable/set the options codes in the APIM to match the features your car has.

Some of the 3.7 mustang folks had similar problems, it may be possible to use a mustang high performance pump with metal impellers to keep the temps down.

I wanted to add a note here to say that I highly recommend upgrading your ACM as with a base ACM many features including blue tooth audio may not light up correctly or at all. With my base interceptor ACM the entertainment section continues to report that the entertainment system is unavailable...

I enabled the option in the RCM but the error persists. The RCM also has an error that it lost connectivity to the APIM but I don't see an obvious reason why that is the case.

If you have the right wires on the right buses and you can enable the options in the modules with forscan it should work. If your PIU was not equipped with sync then you will have a fun weekend project tearing apart the interior to run all the missing wiring.
