It really depends but most of the time I don't. Here in CT you can get in trouble for flashing your lights to on coming traffic if there is a set-up to warn other drivers.

Yeah my small town here in CT just picked up 2 new x's. They are marked and only usually have been driving them around when it is snowing out.

*UPDATE* Well I just talked to the mechanic and apparently somehow I blew a fuse that operates the o/d or what have you and it ended up faulting the computer. So it only cost me about $40. to fix this.

Well if it turns out to be a tranny rebuild I guess I can't complain to much seeing as it is almost at 190,000 miles and ive owned it for 100,000 of them i have not had any problems at all with the transmission or motor.

I love snow...I was out in the X playing around for a long time last night when it was snowing it was great.

Last friday I just hit 180,000 miles on my 95' and shes still thankfully going strong. KNock on wood I haven't had to do any major things to it as of yet.

Ive only seen 1 lifted explorer around here and it is a 1st gen. X. Other then that the only other explorers that I know of adn have seen with bigger tires or anything is mine and another member from the site is rydinhigh.

Yeah I take my friends out every snow storm and we have fun. They love skiing behind it but without ski's. I know its dangerous and all but its fun. LAst year when we had a good storm we used a rope and a tire tied to it and went sleding around.
