I used 35 mm on my 98 sport. They worked fine. Best thing to do is measure it with a caliper just to be sure.

Yes if you unplug the module the high beam indicator will not work.. also parking brake indicator does not work on mine anymore since i unplugged it.

I am running alpine cda 9886 in my explorer and ranger... not a bad headunit with 3 rca outs which are 4v. But it was more on the expensive side. And if you have a newer ipod you need an adapter that steps the voltage down to 5v so it can charge it... otherwise it just runs off battery.

Heat gun is a good tip. seems to look better at least in photos. I just use tire shine on my plastic pieces too

I sanded the tips of my leds down. Mine don't cause any glare. But i may also have dimmer leds.

I have same wheels sitting in my garage right now. Maybe the black metal broke off a bigger piece then what came out of the chrome skin. But those wheels are pretty tick metal they would have to be really rusted to do that. Or maybe the rim was damaged in a previous incident and just broke now.

Yeah if you have a block heater the car should start easier. It doesn't warm up to operating temps, but should warm up a lot quicker.

I am going to go down to the dealer tomorrow and get new relays and try that first see if that changes anything.

You need the standard bulbs... that means when you go to the website make sure you are not ordering sack or swack type bulbs... those will not work properly. What you need is the switchback bulb located here...

Yes take a picture of the light pattern maybe do one of regular vs ge nigthawk if you can. But i may buy a set... not sure yet. I am still running the headlight bulbs that came with my explorer when i bought it.

The color is also a little different if you have 35watt vs 55watt ballast.

I had the nighthawks in another car before and they were brighter... that was going from silverstars which were just blue tinted and not as bright. But i have just been running regular cheapo bulbs in headlights and installed auxiliary lights when i need them.

They sell them at Canadian tire. If i remember correctly the regular nighthawk bulbs were +30% bulbs while on the Canadian tire website it lists +90% for the platinum. I don't know if that's correct. And i couldn't find any info about them on ge website either...

Mine also did the same thing. I ordered some smd bulbs now... so i am going to see how those work. I think maybe some leds are designed up to 12v so when our cars go between 12 and 14 that's why they start doing that and eventually stop working. That's my suggestion anyway.

Hmm on my 98 you can click it all the way down and it wont turn on the interior light... Must have changed somewhere along the line.. I dont know if maybe a dimmer switch from a newer explorer would be the same wiring or not. Maybe someone else knows.

I run autolite double platinum plugs and autilite wires. no complaints here. I had bosch plugs in there before and they didnt last long. Took em out a week later.. just didnt run good for some reason.

I had the ltx m/s tires and now switched to bridgestone dueler at. I like the dueler at better but wouldn't mind getting Michelin if there was a good deal.
