You can make a lot of power with the OHV. Start by getting some good rod bolt or it will never hold up to alot of boost. But as stock stay less the 8 psi. The heads are the limiting factor of the 4.0 ohv.

I have the same problem. I was thinking it may have been a u-joint, but I found a bad pinon bearing in the rear diff.

I think the cams and intake may be different. But other wise the same.

The engine will not pass emission. The law in in most states is, that you may use only engines newer than the vehicle year. In your case you have 99 you need to use 99+ engine. If emission are not your concern. I suggest using an AOD from a F-series trunk I will help you with 4WD.

I was woundering if anyone has tryed it? I would like to but Bushwacker cut-out flare on my 91 Explorer. I want to do this so I can flex the suspension a little more, and pass local safty inspection. :D Any other ideas for an oversized flare would be great.
