Thanks for the reply Jim. There are only power seats on the drivers side so I cannot compare to the passengers side. If nobody sits in the drivers seat it still does not go up and down. All the other functions, back and forth, and tilt work, but the up and down just makes a motor noise but...

Thanks for the info. For clarification, my current overhead console does not have the heater controls, but the one I found that has homelink does have the heater controls. My question is, can I just remove the panel I currently have which is just an empy pocket with velcro for garage opener...

One more question. It has been quite a while since I was reaching through my glove box to look at this. Is the arm spring loaded so it just needs to be pushed and that will spring the other way, or is it a push/pull mechanism?

The difference it makes is the fact that 10ths of a mile are no longer shown. So if your mapquest directions that you printed out say go half a mile then turn right...you don't have the display of the .5 to go by.
