I did crawl underneath and see there may be some leakage on the drivers side. I was able to tighten the valve cover bolts maybe a turn. I dont want to over torque them though. I will bring up the valve seals issue to my 5.0 mechanic. Thanks

Section, It is stalling when changing gears because the stock torque converter doesn't stall high enough rpms. I adjusted my idle a little higher. It seems to work so far.

Mascman, you used a stock spring for the SOA, right? not a "lift" spring. Does a stock spring over generally result in 6in.? Also was swapping the gears a PIA. I've heard getting to the front ones is a pain. assuming you have 4wd. X looks good.

I'd be careful with 1.7's if you are going to use a chip. I heard the chip could lean the engine out too much with the taller rocker. Or something like that. Also, 1.6 rollers didn't fit under my stock valve covers. I needed to use some stang ones.

What modification are required for the KB twin screw? I asked them if I can get one of their s/c for my X (IE TS 1000) They said the didn't have anything that would work. Cobra, have you dyno'd your set up yet? I'm shooting for a simliar end product, although I've done e303 and rollers already.

I'm patiently waiting to get the x-charger too. I'd be interested in the 9 lb pulley, also. I've read that there is a boost loss or drop off in efficiency so to get a true or net 6lb I'd want the higher boost pulley. I'v got a similar engine set up as Bart. Can't believe there aren't more...

Also, is it right that my factory rims are 5.25in backspacing? I could actually come out 2in on both side for a 4in wide stance/track with some aftermarket wheels !!
