I am in the process of removing the transmission from a '95, 5spd, 2wd. I've got most everything apart and am just about ready to try to pull it. A couple of questions: 1. The top two bolts on the bell housing look tough to get to. Any tricks? Just try to reach up there with extensions...

Yup the tool is not needed. Using a screwdriver, I just pushed the white plastic ring into the connection. When it was all the way in the fitting just came apart.

Assuming I was to install a proper hitch, how much could a '95 4.0 2wd 5spd be able to tow? thanks

Tried to buy one of these stamped tools on Saturday but none of the local auto parts stores had one or even knew what I was talking about. This is the tool with the U shaped cutout at one end to disconnect the hydraulic line to the clutch slave cylinder. I know I can just order one on line but...
