2" .25 wall sleeved over 1.5" either .25" wall or .5" wall, I can't remember for sure. Definitely beefy and over built. No, but I think I'm gonna keep it a while longer. Been entertaining buying a parts truck to turn it back into more of a driver.

    School me on the PSD

Your dollars will go farther looking in TX. You can likely come out ahead even with a plane ticket and driving back.

    Possible diesel swap 93 xlt.

Probably the easiest would be the 4 cyl Cummins. It is a good bit lighter than either the Powerstroke or 5.9 Cummins. It also might stand a better chance of fitting under the hood without sticking into the backseat. But it does seem that you are heading down the right path by trying to...

    School me on brake controllers!

You should like that one a lot. I have the Prodigy from Tekonsha, the next step down from that one and love it. My dodge is the fourth vehicle I have had it in and it has worked flawlessly in all of them.

The axle is only moved forward 3/4 of an inch to 1 inch. The upper mount of the coilover is just in front of the MC, about an inch and a half. The hoop runs up just outside the MC about 2 inches. The front hardline out of the MC is bent to clear the hoop. I'll get you pics as soon as I...

I have the mastercrafts in my truck, the rubicon model I think. Best seats I have ever sat in, worth every penny.

I got the bare housing a few years ago off ebay for $50.00. It is a 76 early bronco Dana 44. It is already the right width for an explorer w/o being cut down. It was built with Warn axle shafts, CTM U joints, detroit locker, crane knuckles, BTF high steer arms, and a chevy disk brake setup...

    Obama's Flow Is Adequately Hydrated

    3) Benchworks Steering, or something close to that. Power steering shop in Phoenix, AZ. They can hot rod the pump for you to match the specs of your ram. I talked to them on my last explorer when I wanted to do the pump to keep up better with the full hydro. I sold the truck before I could...

    A) gotta be a strength thing. The link is made of 7075 AL so it is not a strong as the doubled up DOM lowers. I doubt it needs to be any stronger. B) :D ;) C) not really, we cut out what was in the way and moved other stuff around. D):dunno: I don't carry spare heims, probably...

3/4" 250/350 No. The air intake had to be redone though to make room for the upper hoops and engine brace.

    trailer brake for Excursion

They are super easy to install, the instructions are very clear. When I installed it in my old super duty I just used the universal harness that came with the controller and the harness from Ford that was in the truck. I joined to the two according to the instructions with the controller and...

    trailer brake for Excursion

Prodigy all the way. I have had mine since 2002 in four different vehicles, and won't use anything else. It is a one time set up and then you can forget about it.

    Ranger/Explorer Coilover rates...

I think it was 2300-2400 lbs on the front axle and 1900-1950 ish on the rear. Your ranger should be a good deal lighter, maybe DB has his weights. I don't know on the valving. I guess I should have been clearer in that I gave all the info to my fab shop and they dealt with King. I got a...

    Ranger/Explorer Coilover rates...

All I did for valving was weigh the truck, front and rear. I gave those numbers to the guys at King, told them how I was going to use the truck, and they valved accordingly. I got very lucky because both my valving and spring rate were dead on the first time.

    cgriffin's '98 NJ pre-runner build!

I think you will find those springs to be a bit too stiff. I'm running 250/350 and I think that the other coil over rigs are in about the same neighborhood. Maybe Jefe will chime in with his rates.

    cgriffin's '98 NJ pre-runner build!

They are either BC Bronco's or Bronco Graveyards radius arms for an early bronco. I can't remember which company they came from. They were then cut and modified to mount outside the frame instead of under it for more ground clearance. I don't remember what the length was on them, but they...
