i ordered my rockcrawlers last week, they will be in this wed. they are 15x8 with 3.75 backspace. i paid $38.00 each for them . they are the inday series rims.

my 93 eplorer 4.0 states the gap should be 52-58 , has anyone experimented with the gap. i just cant seem to make the engine run smoothly . i just took out the double plat. plugs and experimented with new autolite reg. plugs , it doesnt run nearly as smooth . i was just wondering about a good gap

id check the fuel pressure . it should be between 35-45 at idle . with the engine running at idle unplug the vacuum line on the fuel pressure regulator , if this regulator is good the engine should immediatly speed up considerably. this is what was wrong with mine just recently hope it helps

i have a 93 with the 4.0 pushrod. i tow an 18 ft. camper which weights 3200 pounds. it pulls this camper great with power to spare. iv never driven one with a 5.0 so i cant speak for them. if i was going to get another one tho,id be the 5.0. i love v-8s

i had to change my coil pack on my X. when you would pull a spark plug wire and put it close to the coil pack the fire was orange ( sign of weak coil) . i put the new one on and did the same thing and the fire was a blueish white like it was supposed to be.

im sure that removing the injectors for cleaning would be the best way . how about bringing the truck to a shop where they hook up to the intake to clean them . i was told that the injectors have a screen inside and it doesnt get as clean this way due to the screen . this cost...

iv been having this prob. for a year now. as snow white as the plugs where im lucky i didnt fry a valve or piston . just for good measure im going to have the injectors cleaned . this is the last thing i have to do to it ,it will be like new now.

well after fighting the check engine light coming on and then going off i finally found the culprit. it was the fuel pressure regulator. when i pulled the vacuum off of the old one with the engine running it made no difference on the idle. well i changed it and when i pull off the vacuum on the...

i think 10" wheels will stick out to much and not look right. i was going to do this on mine ,but when i inquired about it i found that 8 1/2" wheels where the best for the truck. just my 2 cents
