Well I added some freon to it and it did not help, the weird thing is that if I turn the A/C On and turn the fan level all the way up to high the a/c clutch stays on like it is supposed to, but if I put the fan on any lower setting the clutch starts turning on and off again....... i really hope...

My 99 Explorer does not have keyless entry, do you think it would have the wires to plug in a keyless entry module in the back so I could install it? I know it does not have power seats but it has the wiring for them. Thanks

I do not have the keypad on the door, and I looked in the manual and there is not a fuse for the keyless entry

I have a '99 explorer with the manual seats, does anyone know if the power seat plug is in all the explorers even with manual seats? I would like to install power seats in my explorer.

I have a 2WD '99 Explorer and I was told by one shop that I needed new upper and lower ball joints and they quoted me $1450 to replace them, I took it to another shop for another quote and they said the ball joints were fine, is there a way I can check them myself? Thanks

I was told all '99 explorers came with keyless entry capability.... I have a 99 xlt with the power equipment group, but I tried to program a keyless remote and the turning the ignition 11 times or whatever does nothing. Is it possible my explorer doesn't have this capability? Thanks
