i have installed the metra one in a couple cars. i wouldnt recommend using it. the thing is garbage. they only work about 25% of the time. you may want to try the pac one, it may be better. hope this helps.

use the red wire on the back of your sony head unit and it will send 12v to the amp to turn it on when you turn the vehicle on.

red/light green is ignition, dk green/light green is accessory. both of those are found in the harness coming from the ignition cylinder. i am also curious as to what you are installing.

not very expensive. all you have to buy is materials. probably about $40 or $50 worth. it is time consuming though. but the outcome is definitely worth it.
