$695.00 for $2 worth of damaged parts

I had to cut my fuel line on both ends to get my fuel filter out from under my 98. I put these quick release clips in both ends with this new kind of fuel line that will heat shrink around the quick release ends. I maybe spent $25 for a filter and the new ends.

    Wont start every time! help!

Bought a fuel pressure gauge today. Its about 10 PSI lower then its suppose to be. Which means the pump isn't working properly. Also, turns out that the pump is sending air thru the lines. Most likely the check valve is bad. How hard it it to put a new pump in?
