    DIY: Replace Oil Pressure Sensor

    I just replaced mine. The unit I bought already had the coating on the threds. It looked like teflon, it was red and seemed thicker, but i thought i read earlier in this forum that a "semi-conductive" style tape should be used.

    DIY: Replace Oil Pressure Sensor

    Mine is normal when the engine starts, but when I hit the Gas the pressure drops to 0 pressure. Does anyone think simply changing the sensor would fix this?

    Shifting issues after flush

    i always hear about problems after people flush the trany if it hasnt been properly maintaind and flushed at regular intravuls. somehting about loosing the metal fillings that have been lubricating the gears for a while makes the tranny act funny. you may need a rebuild.

    if your mas was unplugged, its probably a good idea to unplug your battery for 15 minutes to reset your fuel injerctor, fuel to air ratio. you engine will run a little funny while the computer relearns everything, but that should only be for less than a day. that should solve the rough idle...

    tranny problems!!!!!!

    many transmission problems are cause bye not enough fluid or metal filing building up. i suggest flush and fill the fluid. if the noise is getting worse and you have enough fluid you will probaly need a rebuild soon

    no sound from speakers?????

    best bet, have best buy or someone install the new deck with an adaptor plug. if your amp is bad get new amp and speakers run NEW wires from the deck to the new speakers. if you try to re-use the stock equipment you will probaly have problems. anything else is really a waste of time and money
