    yeah thats how i busted the first one.... btw i wheeled all day friday and saturday at mcauslin mountian with the pitman arm cut through (brought the drop one in the glove box for a fast swap) it never broke off even wheeling over big rocks.

    lol yeah good video. the nut and washer are off. i have tried pickle forks, about 3 different pitman arm removers, an air cutting wheel, and a bfh. im begining to think that the years of michigan rust have just locked the pieces together.

    i used 1 and1/4 on mine and the nut came off. i have tried multiple things and my pitman arm is still on the truck. idk what to do now.

    update: picked up afew loaner tools and they were too big also. i ground down the remover i owned just enough to get it in between the pitman arm and the steering box. it snapped before i got anywhere with it. anything else i can try?

    yeah i was talking about grinding down the puller a bit. and yes the clearance between the pitman arm and the steering box is the one giving me the issue. ill try the loaner tools and see if that helps.

    anyone trying to put on a drop pitman arm have trouble getting the old one off? i have a pitman arm puller but its too fat to fit in between the pitman arm and the steering box. I was thinking about angle grinding it down to fit but idk if that would work?

    does it help if i tell you that i am burning some oil out of the tailpipe? I dont understand the graphs for getting the codes off of the truck? do i need a 12v tester or not and where does the number that correspondes with the problem show up?

    Ohhh.. i have the rough country brackets and coils. I believe it is for 4 inches of lift.

    UPDATE: put it in the garage all night to warm it up and went out this mourning and it fired right up. havent looked at the starter cables yet but will later.

    ok ill try that a little later on if cleaning the connections doesnt work... i was out playing in the snow the same day it stopped working.... could i have gotten it wet and froze the starter up? i have heard of that happening before.
