I've had the Gibson installed for a few years. I still love it. Slightly louder than stock and give s a nice throaty sound. At highway speeds there is a small amount of drone but it is nothing too bad and is definitely livable.

Your Explorer definitely looks better with the lift.:thumbsup:

I assume by lowering the wipers you moved the lower toward the cowling. It's very simple to do. Pull the wiper arm up then on the base there is a little tab that can be pulled out and when it's pulled you can pull the whole wiper arm off and change how far up the blade sits on the windshield...

1. Driver's seat belt does not retract on it's own all the time and needs some help 2. Passenger side of moonroof rattles. Trying to find some way to fix it but I think it's impossible without removal.

Just wondering if there is any new info on this. Mine has developed a similar sound but it only happens at around 4,000RPM and up and I'm trying to figure out exactly where it's coming from.

I've used the Meguiars detail spray and the Mothers. If you just need some detail spray to lube the clay, any spray will do be it Mothers, Meguiars, Eagle One, etc. I just picked up some Eagle One. Only reason I went with it was because it was cheaper than the Meguiars or Mothers.

I check every three months or so or just before I set off on a long trip. Last time I checked all 4 were at 26psi so I pushed them up to 33psi. I'm good to go for another few months now.

I did this when I had my '95 4-door. It really made a difference.

I get 17-18MPG in town. Everytime I take off from a stop the engine hits atleast 2500RPM through the first 3 gears and about 80% of the time I go to 3000-3500 RPM through the first 3 gears. On the highway (75-80MPH) I get right around 20MPG.

I have the Gibson on my Sport as well. I have videos somewhere on my computer. I'll see if I can find them. If not I'll make some this weekend for you if you would like.

The original tires were 29" 235/70R16 which is the standard for the 2wd and 4wd model. The 4WD model with the Premium Sport Package had 255/70R16. I have that package but a 2WD and I wanted the 255 size tires.

It's supposed to come out of shipping mode when you give it power and want to insert a CD. I'd say there's something definitely wrong with it.

Well I'm assuming you are talking about your 2000 Explorer listed where your avatar would be. The trim piece removal is not necessary. You just need the Ford radio removal tools to get the OE stereo out.

Not really sure how it comes off but you do not need to take the trim piece off to change the headunit.

My '03 Sport. Has a few mods done to it. These pics are a couple years old but now it has 30" Toyo Open-Country A/T tires and a Gibson cat-back exhaust. Really happy with it and might do a TT & shackles soon. All the mods are listed in the link in my sig.

My Sport has the same space as well.

I'd like essentially what I have now but with the 5.0L and 4r70w. I'd be quite happy.
