    Slick50 or DuraLube

marvel is an old timey solution that is engine rebuild in a bottle. everytime i rebuild an engine, its the first thing i pour in the crank. but if it aint broke, dont fix it. nothing beats changeing the 10w30 every 3000 miles. but the marvel is the best at quieting down valve chatter. brian

    Slick50 or DuraLube

if anything use marvel mystery oil or prolong. they are the best because they have no solids in the makeup. the others have microscopic teflon beads. you do not want solids in your crank.

    Spark Plug Question

when you change your plugs you need to use the motorcraft. they have the proper heat range that you need for the motor. bosch platinums are cheaper, but they caused me a lot more trouble with gas milage and spark knock. to be honest, i dont recomend them hardly at all anymore at work. the...

    Fuel Injection Cleaning

Fuel additives are great as long as you use the right one. granted when you pressure clean the injectors directly they will come out cleaner, but not all of us have $80 to spend (I am a broke college kid trying to work and coach my way through school). The best stuff i ever used was made by VP...

    Rattle under load.

spark knock The pinging you here is spark knock and can be cured several different ways. The first is to run some 93 octane gas through and see if it quits. If it does, then just use 93 in it everytime it starts up again. The second thing is to look and see if your plugs, wires, and coil...
