Could this be the Wrangler Fighter???

All depends what's under there. If it's just a restyle with the standard Explorer underpinnings, it's a waste of time. I do like the looks of it though.

    PIAA 520 MSR

Matt I'm toying with the idea of getting a set of 520 MSR lamps when they become available. Maybe you can give me a little more info. I checked the PIAA website and all it basically says there is that they have a multi-surface reflector and a clear, non-fluted lens. Is that the difference...

    More Lights than Matt

Matt Well, at least more than you have pointing forward. Just watching a little of the Baja 2000 on Speedvision. There was a Ford that had 12 (count 'em, 12) lights pointing to the front. Don't know how many for backup. 6 on a roof rack and another 6 across the front. Couldn't make out the...

    2001 Sport Leaf springs

A couple days ago I was behind a new Sport and noticed that they now have a leaf pack (4 leafs) like the 4-doors. My '99 has a single leaf spring in the rear, which I never liked. Does anybody know if the leaf pack from the '01 will fit my '99? As usual, the local Ford dealer was of no help. TIA

    Internet access

Ford is working with Qualcom (known for cell phone technology) to provide internet access in your car. Don't know any details yet, but I would guess first would be something to counter GM's ONSTAR system.

John Bull trail at Big Bear

If anybody is interested, I put up an album of our Big Bear run. This was a shake out run for Tom's (FAKRWEE) new transfer case. And since I'm going to be riding with Tom during the Rubicon run at the end of August, it was also a good practise run for him to get to trust me spotting him. Anyway...

    FAKRWEE's suspension setup

Tom (Davis), Glad you guys made it thru the Rubicon without major damage. You were interested in Tom's (Fakrwee) new front suspension layout. I took a few pictures of it when we were up at Big Bear a few weeks ago. Hope they show you what you were intereted in seeing...

    Ford Backpacks from Moab Run

Has anybody received the backpacks Ford promised us? They took everybody's e-mail and address, but I haven't heard a peep from them. I wouldn't really care too much about it, but my grandson is a Ford fan (Mark Martin - Nascar) and I opened my big mouth and promised him the backpack. He's 9...

I just got the skid plates for the transfer case and the gas tank from my Ford dealer. Stupid me, I thought they would come as a kit, like the bolts that are required to install them would be included. Wrong!!! Dead Link Removed It looks to me that there are 4 bolts each. Anybody know the size...
