im not really sure about the thinest recomended or the specs on it. my sploder was already a trail rig by the time i added the innards to it, so i wasn't really concerned about how thin they were. I would immagine if you call a ford dealer service center, they would probably be able to look up...

a 302 is a ford V8. 5.0L or 302 cubic inches of displacement. a breaker bar is like a long ratchet without the ratcheting head. just used to put monster torque, through leverage, on a nut or bolt. it is possible to rent them (autozone) but they are pretty cheap, and a good tool to go with a...

if you only want 31's....then go with the shackles and spacers. you can probably fit 31's with minimal rubbing stock, but to be on the safe side, spacers and shackels will keep you clear, and they are cheap too! they are also a lot easier to put on than a body lift.

well...taking one of a 302 i had, i broke it loose with a 2 foot long breaker bar. but the rods were still connected, and the pistons were frozen in the cylinders, so i had plenty of resistence to push on. try an impact wrench. just make good and sure you get a tight fitting socket on there...

check your fan shroud, or that area...if you have somthing loose or hanging there, it might be getting hit by the fan.

well...since no one has answered yet, i will.... i actually didn't have the ko, i had the AT moab edition. basically mine were just a softer tire compound, so they wore faster than the ko's. my roomate has the ko's on his jeep and he loves them. i liked my at's too for street driving...

yeah...this worked best for me. i had a junk cricular saw with a metal cutting blade on it that i used to take the heads off. Then i used a bit just smaller than the shaft of the rivot, and drilled in about 1/4-1/8", put a punch about that diameter in the hole, and knocked it out. worked...

i could be mistaken (its happened before) but you should be able to adjust the idle on the throttle cale on top of your intake. if not...this at least bumps you up to the top of the forum! :D
