I have seen "black chrome" wheels on cars and other parts. I have seen a few Mercedes and Lexus cars with the emblems done this way. I think the PROPER way is electroplating, like gold plated emblems. So I don't want to hear about tint sprays, paint, etc...I want it to be permanent. Anyone know...

AS the topic says, I installed an Extang Blackmax soft bed cover today. Found it used on Ebay and got for $105 shipped. New it is over $400 PLUS shipping. Looks new, flawless except a couple of the bolts threads had been stripped. Mounts very easily, uses holes already there in the bed.
