Yea it was a PITA. Definitly coulda been easier. How much transmission fluid did you lose? And I got my rad from napa, have an account their so everything is at cost...paid less than 200 I think....it was a while ago.

I probably should have but didnt, since adding transmission fluid involves having a special piece of equipment since its a closed system. I probably lost 1/2-1 cup of transmission fluid doing the exchange, just have to be quick about it.

nope. condenser stayed in, but working around it in a pain. took me about 3 hours total to do the replacement, the transmission lines were the worst because my new radiator had different "hookups"

I did not remove my fan, just the fan shroud. The fan really isnt in the way.

Well mine was under warranty..sorry, forgot to mention that. TSB does not mean they repalce it for free.

theres definitly a TSB out on it somewhere..they replaced the motor in my 06 for free....

Mine popped off one day when I pressed it and tehre is indeed a spring under there. To get the button off I just hold the button in and twist about a 1/4 turn left and it pops off, and theres a perfect spot to sit a spring. Let me know if it works.
