Hey all! I have a 2017 Ford Explorer Sport. So far I've put in a 3" lift, reflex shocks, 18" steel rims, and threw some nitto ridge grapplers on it. She handles great on the trails but I want to add some more cosmetic parts for lighting and styling. The first thing...
Picking up a 1992 Mazda Navajo on Saturday. She's no looker. Aside from already being a Navajo front end, the grille is in multiple pieces. Well, that and the peeling paint.
I want to pull off the Navajo grille and lights, then replace them with an Explorer's lights and grille.
I have a few...
Like new, silver and grey original part. From 2013 XLT model. Looking to sell because I installed the sport grill on mine, and now it's just taking up space. Asking $40 plus shipping costs. Please message me at email@example.com if interested.
Just joined the Explorer Forum. Currently have a 16 Explorer XLT EcoBoost Silver on Black.
- HID Fog Lights
- LED Mirror Puddle Lights
- LED License Plate lights
- Wheel Skins (dealer actually added them when purchased)
- Blacked out hitch molding trim from chrome to black
Thinking of painting my grille... It's the standard chrome surround which is holding up fine, but a medium silver middle which has worn away to show the cream plastic color.
Has anyone tried Krylon Fusion Textured for plastics on this? I already have a black can of it sitting around, though...
Hey everybody my first post, I'm 17 and got a explorer from my parents as my first car and I love it and i want to start building it to what I want. I am looking for a full brush guard to fit a 98 explorer sport, but I can't find one that will actually fit it. Does everyone modify theirs that...
I had to do it, i plasti dipped my front grille and all my badging. Its is so simple, only took me a couple of hours. I did about 5 coats on the grille. here are some pics.. before/after
there is a little bit of plastic dip overspray in the pic but it peels off very easy
I am looking to buy a 1991 explorer grille because the previous asshat owner painted the girlle rattlecan green and it's starting to chip.
If anyone can help me out for cheap it'd be much appreciated! :)
I've been researching for a while on how to black out my grill. The two options I found was to sand it down and paint it or buy an Ironman grill. Due to $$ I kept looking for other options. Then I found Plasti Dip, a rubberized coating. Home Depot has Plasti Dip so I decided to give it try...
I have 2000 X Limited. Was in a small Fender/Grill/Hood altercation this weekend. Found this site and joined (great site by the way). Here's my question-what year(s)/models will fit a 2000 X Limited if one was going to the recycle yard to look for replacement Hood/Grill/and left front Fender...
I bought a used Brush Guard from someone for $75, but it didn't come with brackets. I thought it mounted directly to the frame but after reading threads here, I found out that I need brackets. It looks like a Hunter brand. Any idea where I can get the brackets? I have a 04 Explorer. Thanks.
...Because I am selling everybody grills....
Now, back to the serious part of the thread. I got a little frustrated with how hideous the front of the X was looking.
So I decided to give her a new smile and new frames for her lenses. I did some digging and looking around and couldn't...
